Paper House - Shigeru Ban Architect
Shigeru Ban is a Japanese architect renowned for his creative work with paper and recycled cardboard and for his dedication to designing shelters for victims for wars and disasters. In 2014 he won architecture's most prestigious award, The Pritzker Prize for his innovative use of material and his dedication to humanitarian efforts around the world.
Paper House was built as a temporary structure to showcase how cardboard tubes could be used to construct with. He has gone on to design and build many more structures using this material including churches, museums and houses.
We love Paper House and just wanted to show how easily you can make a representation of it using Arckit components and simple corrugated cardboard.
