Arckit Kickstarter Update: What Next?

It’s been a hectic few months since Arckit Cityscape and Masterplan funded on Kickstarter. This was our first campaign – and what an incredible experience. We’ve been working away to put all the pieces together and bring this to life. We know that many of you can’t wait to get your hands on the new kits, so we wanted to let you know that we’re 99% of the way there now. If everything goes to plan, we aim to begin assembling next week and sending the first orders out by mid-November. We’re really pleased with the results and hope you will be too!

Along with this huge milestone, we are also delighted to see Arckit on the shelves of speciality stores around the world. It’s a huge honour to be stocked in some of our favourite museums and gift stores – not to mention the iconic architecture seen in these buildings and cities. A warm welcome to our newest retailers: MoMA, Guggenheim NY & Bilbao, Indigo, The Tot, The Conran Shop, Arnotts & Art n’ Hobby. Thanks to all our amazing partners for your continued support.

And we are in good company! There’s a wave of innovative new toy products springing up in Ireland recently such as our friends at Lottie Doll, Irish Fairy Door, Rory’s Story Cubes, Teddybot and Yvolution to name a few. We’re amazed at the creative ideas entering the STEM learning and educational toy category. We are proud to say that our multi-award winning products are made just outside of Dublin in County Wicklow, the ‘Garden of Ireland’, and that retailers are supporting us all the way with our decision to keep things local and aim for the highest quality.

So, what next for Arckit? After we have finished sending out the kits for our Kickstarter campaign, we have more exciting announcements up our sleeves this side of Christmas – oops, is it too early to mention that word? On the upside, it’s our favourite time of the year for spending endless days building models!
