ARCKIT GETS THUMBS UP FROM JASON BRADBURY

Guess who came to visit the Arckit stand at the London Toy Fair 2017? None other than Jason Bradbury, the tech and gadget guru best known for presenting the TV programme, The Gadget Show.

Jason came to check out our stand and find out what the buzz was about. We soon sparked up a conversation about Arckit. He was friendly, enthusiastic and immediately taken by the idea of a freeform architectural model system.

Searching for reference points, he described Arckit as being like a middle ground between toys like Lego Architecture and actual buildings, allowing people of all ages (including ‘big kids’) to conceive their own architecture, summing up Arckit as “precise, architecture-like and really very beautiful.”

It was also interesting for us to see how (time and time again) Arckit inspires adults and professional architects to create their dream structures, as well as inspiring budding makers as a fun and spontaneous way to release creativity.

We really couldn’t be happier with such glowing praise from a presenter who literally must have seen thousands of new toys and gadgets over the years.

Big thanks to Jason for stopping by and wishing him all the very best luck with his new YouTube channel.

Come see Arckit for yourself

Today is the final day of International Toy Fair in Nuremberg where we’ve received major interest from around the world. The next stop is Didacta, the largest EDU show in Germany, then on to the New York Toy Fair where we are incredibly excited to be attending the Toy of The Year Awards 2017. Our new Arckit GO Colours has been nominated as a ‘Construction Toy of the Year’ finalist where we’re up against some serious competition including Lego and Meccano.
